Parish Nursing is a specialized area of nursing that brings the skills of nursing into a faith community setting. It emphasizes the physical and spiritual components of health and healing. The Parish Nurse works with the Health Ministries team and the congregation as health educator, personal health counselor and referral source, promoting the relationship between faith and health. The Parish Nurse serves as a bridge between medical and faith communities during treatment for acute and chronic conditions facing our members.
