Hunger Ministries

Community Service Committee leads and inspire all members of MPPC to service our neighbors by sharing our resources.

Friendship Trays Driver

Can you deliver hot lunches one day a month?

Through Friendship Trays, MPPC delivers hot, nutritious meals to elderly, handicapped, or convalescing people in the Charlotte area who are unable to prepare or secure meals for themselves. If you have two hours available mid-day one or more times a month and have a car, you can become a Friendship Trays driver.

If you are an MPPC member and you are interested in becoming a disciple, please contact the Covenant Ministries office. To learn more about Friendship Trays contact 704-333-9229 or visit http://www.friendshiptrays.org.

MPPC Shelter Casseroles

Preparing a hamburger casserole is a simple and effective way to meet the needs of our less fortunate neighbors who are hungry. MPPC members provide casseroles the first Sunday of each month fto homeless men, women, and children.

Loaves and Fishes Emergency Food Assistance

Loaves and Fishes is the primary source of direct emergency food assistance for families in crisis in Mecklenburg County.

You can help by bringing canned goods to the church the first Sunday of every month and placing them in collection bins located in the Narthex, Crossroads, and the CLC area.

For more information about Loaves and Fishes contact 704-523-4333 or visit http://www.loavesandfishes.org. If you are an MPPC member and you are interested in becoming a disciple, please contact the Covenant Ministries office.

If you are an MPPC member and interested in becoming a disciple for any of these activities, please contact the Covenant Ministries office (704-376-3695).
