 Dale began service with Myers Park Presbyterian Church as Administrator in 1999. Before accepting Myers Parks call, he was Administrator at First Presbyterian Church of Dallas, Texas, for seven years. Prior service includes positions as a seminary administrator in Monrovia, Liberia; Holman Publishers; and mission service in Zimbabwe. Short-term and continuing mission involvement includes work in Niger, Ghana, Zambia, Malawi, and South Africa.
An Arkansas native, Dale holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from Baylor University. His undergraduate degree in business and political science is from Ouachita University. Primary continuing education work has been at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minn.; Southwestern Seminary, Ft. Worth, Texas; and Union Seminary in Richmond, Va.
Dale's wife, the Rev. Dr. Nancy E. Allison, is Pastor of Holy Covenant United Church of Christ in Charlotte. They have two daughters, who are students at Elon University and East Mecklenburg High School. He enjoys travel, hiking, and prefers reading historical novels and nonfiction. |
