To learn more about our diverse Christian Education ministries, go to the Grow section. The following is a summary of our Sunday School offerings: Children Sunday, 9:45 a.m., F-building Youth Sunday, 9:45 a.m. Adults Sunday, 9:45 a.m.
ACTS (Adults Caring Through Scripture), E-202 This class of 30-50-year-olds is taught by staff, class members, and representatives from the Christian community. Covenant, E-204 This cooperative class ranges in age from 50-80-year-olds. Each member teaches one or two lessons per year or invites a guest speaker. Topics typically include the Bible, personal relationships with God and neighbors, and church history. Faithfulness in Daily Life, E-206 An open forum for 40-80-year-olds who choose and discuss contemporary Christian books and publications. Fellowship, CLC-204 As baby boomers, the 50-60-year-old members of this class are looking for a deeper understanding of faith and its impact on daily life. Outside speakers and local clergy teach two to three week series. Gateway, Parlor Speakers and class members lead this engaged group of 40-60-year-olds in exploring and discussing topics that challenge them to grow in adult discipleship. Live B.I.G., Providence Hall Parents of three-year-old to fifth-grade children will study the same themes, Bible stories, and Bible verses that their children are learning. Mingles (adult singles), E-203 This group of singles, ages 30-50, study topics of mutual interest, fellowship and serve together. MPACT (Myers Park Active Christians Today), E-205 All ages study the Bible, explore contemporary social issues, support one another, enjoy fellowship, and learn to live out faith each day. Rhodes-Johnston, Chapel This mens and womens Bible class is open to all ages. The class focuses on the present word curriculum and is taught by Rev. Dr. Richard Boyce. |
