Children, birth through kindergarten, can stay before or after Sunday School while parents attend the Traditional or Celebrate Worship Services. During the 11 a.m. worship hour, extended care is provided for children aged birth through four-years old. Kindergarteners are asked to attend the first part of worship with their parents and at the Passing of the Peace leave the service with their teacher for worship experence specific to their age. Extended care is staffed by both paid workers and parent disciples. Parents are asked to serve in Extended Session one time per quarter.
Sign In / Sign Out Procedure
At the classrooms, all parents must sign their children in by filling out a two part numbered sticker form. One section goes on the child's back; the small part goes on the parent's lapel. When the parent returns to get his child, the numbers on the two parts are matched and attached to a clipboard. Workers or parent volunteers oversee the sign in and sign out procedure. A child will not be released to another minor, even if the minor has the appropriate sticker. We also ask that baby bags, bottles, etc. be clearly marked with the child's name. |
