Adult Choirs

The Sanctuary Choir is responsible for providing choral music for the 8:45 a.m. sanctuary service each Sunday. Requirements for membership include a blendable voice (solo voices not required), some music reading ability, and a commitment to regular attendance at rehearsals and services.

The Chancel Choir is responsible for providing choral music for the 11 a.m. sanctuary service each Sunday and other special services in the life of the Church throughout the year, including Cantata and Oratorio performances with orchestra. Solo voices are not required, but a well-focused voice that blends, some ability to read music, and consistency in attendance at rehearsals and services is very important.

The Celebrate Band is responsible for providing musical leadership for the 8:45 a.m. Celebrate Service each Sunday. The band consists of guitars, drums, bongos and a keyboard, plus singers. Solo voices are not required, and rehearsal and Sunday attendance are flexible.

The Providence Handbell Ringers provide traditional handbell music for selected santuary services.

The Carillon
in the bell tower is played before and after Sunday morning services, and for seasonal services and some weddings. Carillonneurs are needed each week. Some keyboard skills are required, and training is provided.

Instrumentalists participate in sanctuary worship services on a regular basis. A level of proficiency that requires minimal rehearsal time is required
