Wee Worship is here! MPPC is launching a revised ministry which will replace what has traditionally been known as Extended Care. Wee Worship intends to provide care and worship activities for two classes of children during both the 8:45 and 11:00 church services from September to May. One class will include children ages three and four and the other class will include children in TK and Kindergarten. We are encouraging each MPPC parent who feels called to fulfill his or her Baptismal covenant to the children of our congregation, to sign up and serve in what promises to be a flexible, fun and rewarding ministry.
Wee Worship is looking for disciples willing to commit to serving at least once during the nine-month period or as many times as you are able. Wee Worship requires a total of 32 disciples each month from September to May. If we are unable to secure a commitment from 32 disciples each month, we will no longer be able to provide a class for TK and Kindergarten during both church services.
All disciples of this ministry will have an orientation and training session in late August to help prepare for the year ahead. Suggested curriculum and activities for the classes will be offered at that time. Disciples can choose to serve with a friend, your spouse, or on your own.
