 The usher is often the first contact our members and guests have on Sunday mornings. He/she plays an important part in setting the tone and atmosphere of worship. Responsibilities may include: welcoming, directing and seating members and guests; receiving the offering; reserving honorary rows for special events like baptisms and mission trip commissions; directing traffic in the narthex; and handling concerns or emergencies should they arise.
